Carl says it almost every day and that’s something, considering he’s been in the industry for over 25 years.

He trained under the legendary Daniel Galvin and John Frieda, before joining the equally prestigious Nicky Clarke, where he spent 13 years honing his craft and developing his talent and natural flair among some of the most influential hairdressers in the industry. By his mid twenties Carl was already Head Colourist and in that time has won numerous awards and plaudits including British Hairdresser of the Year.

Carl has maintained his standing in the industry by ever changing and growing with it – Also influencing it by developing, adapting and putting his own creative stamp on colour techniques like Mezzo Highlights and his latest colouring effect, Acquarella.

Work has taken him all over the world with consulting and education and he now holds regular workshops and motivational talks teaching new colour techniques.
